DIRECT FEEDBACK
These are experiences shared by operations managers, logistics heads, and supply chain directors from companies across Malaysia.
Head of Operations · Shah Alam
"We were carrying far too much buffer stock across three distribution points. Deepfield came in, mapped our demand patterns carefully, and helped us redesign our planning model. The results were visible within two quarters — tighter inventory, fewer write-offs, and a calmer warehouse floor."

Supply Chain Director · Johor Bahru
"Route planning for our Johor–KL corridor was a constant headache. Deepfield's routing model cut our average delivery window considerably and the dashboard they set up gives my team a clear picture every morning. The handover process was thorough and unhurried."

Logistics Manager · Penang
"The visibility platform gave us something we had never really had before — a single view of what's moving and what's stuck. Onboarding took a few weeks to get right, but the Deepfield team was patient throughout. We now catch potential delays days ahead of when we used to."

Procurement Lead · Kuala Lumpur
"We brought Deepfield in mainly for the demand planning piece. What stood out was how they took time to understand our ERP setup before making any recommendations. Nothing felt off-the-shelf. By month four, our procurement cycle had settled into a much more predictable rhythm."

Fleet Operations Manager · Ipoh
"Running 40 trucks across the northern corridor, even small improvements in routing add up significantly. Deepfield modelled our constraints well — delivery windows, vehicle capacities, driver schedules. The optimisation wasn't just theoretical; it reflected how our operations actually work."
January 2026
Operations Analyst · Selangor
"I was sceptical about AI tools for supply chain — previous vendors oversold and underdelivered. Deepfield was different in that they explained the model logic clearly and were upfront about where the system works well and where it needs human judgment. That honesty made a big difference."

DETAILED OUTCOMES
A closer look at specific engagements and the operational improvements that followed.
CHALLENGE
A mid-sized electronics component manufacturer was experiencing persistent overstock on slow-moving SKUs while simultaneously running short on high-velocity items. Their planning team was spending significant time on manual adjustments with limited visibility into upstream demand.
SOLUTION
Deepfield implemented a demand sensing model drawing from POS data, order history, and seasonal signals. Inventory policies were redesigned by SKU category, and the model was integrated into their SAP ERP environment. The engagement ran over 14 weeks including a full validation phase.
RESULTS
CHALLENGE
A third-party logistics provider managing 60+ vehicles across Peninsular Malaysia was relying on dispatcher experience for route planning. Delivery windows were frequently missed, fuel costs were above sector benchmarks, and the operations team had no structured way to evaluate routing decisions.
SOLUTION
Deepfield conducted geospatial analysis of delivery zones, modelled operational constraints including time windows, vehicle weight limits, and driver regulations, and developed a route optimisation engine. A web-based operations dashboard was deployed for daily scheduling use.
RESULTS
CHALLENGE
A fast-moving consumer goods distributor was operating across procurement, warehousing, and outbound logistics with data sitting in separate systems. Their management team had no consolidated view of operations, and disruptions were typically identified after they had already caused delays.
SOLUTION
Deepfield designed and deployed a visibility platform connecting procurement data, warehouse management output, and logistics tracking feeds. The platform includes real-time status monitoring, predictive alerting for potential disruptions, and bottleneck identification across the supply chain. Delivered over 12 weeks.
